2023年1月18日下午，故宫博物院研究馆员、故宫文化传播研究所所长、著名作家祝勇，在眉山三苏祠，登上名人大讲堂，带来一场名为“在故宫寻找苏东坡——艺术史视野下的苏东坡”的演讲。

祝勇说：“苏东坡的豁达和咱们四川人的性格有关系，四川人天性乐观，临危不乱，我觉得骨子里先天的因素对他有影响。再一个就是时势造就英雄，曲折艰难到来的时候，很多人会被打趴下，但是呢，苏东坡却能够从痛苦当中得到滋养，滋养他变得更加强大。”
